Ted Runner Stadium and the Frank R. Serrao Gateway are historical and symbolic aspects of the Redlands campus that represent two great contributors to Bulldog Athletics. The stadium is home to the football and track & field programs.
Dedicated to a man who gave 35 years of unparalleled service to the University of Redlands, Ted Runner Stadium is one of the jewels of Southern California football stadiums and one of many fine athletic facilities on the University of Redlands campus.
With the expansion of the Southern California Bulldog Football camps we now also utilize the state of the art “R” Field. In the summer of 2013, Bulldog Athletics became the first among the NCAA Division III to include FieldTurf® Revolution with CoolPlay Technology in its new turf field, known as the “R” Field. This cutting-edge cooling technology has been laboratory tested to decrease the surface temperature of the synthetic field-space by up to 35 degrees, as compared to regular turf fields.
